Greville.His car has been in the carpark at Greville since last Thursday. I'm about to head down there from Toowoomba. His phone rings out so it's a bit of a worry. If anyone has further info then ring the Boonah Police station. He told me that he was going to be working on a mega new route on the north side of Greville. Will update when I can. Missing rock climber found dead Marissa Calligeros June 28, 2011 - 11:24AM A rock climber missing for five days in Moogerah Peaks National Park near Boonah has been found dead. The 39-year-old man from Toowoomba, an experienced hiker and climber, was climbing alone on Mount Greville and had been camping in his car at nearby Mount French. Friends and family alerted police on Saturday when the man did not return home from his latest rock climbing trip in the national park. Helicopters were used to conduct an air search over Mount French and the adjoining Mount Greville peaks on Monday. A search party including police, State Emergency Service personnel and experienced mountaineers, believed to be close friends of the man, began searching on foot at first light today. His body was found shortly before 11am. It is believed the man fell to his death while climbing. Moogerah Peaks National Park, which is popular among hikers, campers and climbers, is about 100 kilometres southwest of Brisbane, close to the Moogerah Dam. http://www.brisbanetimes....dead-20110628-1goa2.html
