As a tribute to the sport climbing pioneers of the 80's, our club (UQMC) will be holding a lycra day up at brooyar on saturday, the 4th of July. The
photo's above, taken from a SuperTopo climbing forum, will hopefully provide some inspiration for some funky climbing outfits for the guys and girls!
Let's see some crazy fluoro colours, leopard prints, tie-dyed masterpieces, and whatever else your creative minds can come up with!
I am extending an invitation to the whole climbing community, including other climbing clubs like QUT and Grubs, and perhaps even some of the BRC crowd could
show us how they wore their lycra back in the 80's. It should be an action-packed day of climbing, fooling around, tight pants, bright colours and
sandstone...
