The cliff is ~300m vertical, many routes have closer to 400m of climbing.

That's Frog Buttress from the Aratula side. You can clearly see the scree slope in the middle of the crag there.................

Here's an easy one, a little closer to home
Double points if you get the peak the photo is taken from, 1000 points if you guess the route we took.

Cook from the mountain on the other side of the plateau, the name eludes me now. That's got to be the silberhorne ridge in the foreground . Did you take
the grade 3 ridge/butress straight off the plateau?

You are correct, its Mt Cook/Aoraki. However the photo is taken from Lendenfeld Peak, just NE of Mt Tasman, which is the peak across the Grand Plateau from Mt
Cook. If the photo kept heading right you would see Tasman.
The Silberhorne arete is definately a classic route, but I did not get the chance to have a shot at Tasman this gone season. Hopefully very soon |

ahhh, i get turned around a bit by relative altitudes and angles in that area. We intended to do that couloir when we were there but a big chockstone at
it's head was a little too terrifying!
A little obscure, an obvious area, I'll take the name of the wall, although that isn't too different to the name of the route |

Wow, some of those splitter cracks at Indian Creek just seem to go on forever!
I've often wondered what the name of that climb was - I think this is the same route taken from a different angle:

And I just finished cleaning the keyboard, now I have to go do it again.
Susy and I talked about going there after 'return to sender' came out. Very impressive place.
