Some mates, who are experienced climbers are wanting to treck on over to Glasshouse.<br>

Been reading up on the glasshouse mountains area from this website.  MYself and some mates are going to head there in a month.  Probably camp.<br>
Have not been there before, so was looking for some advice.<br>
Which is better for climbers from 18 to 25 of grade?<br>
We have a 60 and 50m ropes and the usual gear.<br>

			<title><![CDATA[ The grade of the Caves Route ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ The Caves Route on Mt Tibrogargan has always been grade 2. We solo up and down it in walking boots with heavy packs on. Recently, wombby emailed me asking why it was grade 2 when there was a much harder move in the upper chimney.<br>

Neil and I compared the route to things like Arachnus at Araps (grade 9 - exposed, overhung and runout) and Tiptoe Ridge at Araps (now grade 5, which is harder than the Caves Route). With that in mind, the grade of 4 was suggested.<br>

We were parked there that day and we did not suffer any loss but that is pretty bad news for the rest of the people who parked there. 			<description><![CDATA[ Yesterday Adam Donohue and I climbed Airtime Over Pumicestone at Tibro. We felt that it was worth climbing. Although, there are about twice as many bolts as required.<br>
Possibly not enough care was taken to find all available natural gear placements when deciding where to place the bolts.
