Went down to have a look at this spot just for a recon trip does anyone know if there is a track leading up to the cliff or do i just scrub bash my way in? As i live in Innisfail its only a short trip for me and would love to get out there and have climb on it. When i get my ass into gear i will post some of the climbing spots around Innisfail there is quite a bit of good rock here thanks for your help, Craig.

The BRC guys are heading up to Tinbeerwah tomorrow, Sunday.
Should be good, all those storms completely missed Tinny so it's bone dry.
If it rains tonight I'll post here, so keep an eye out.

Ok - back from Moonarie (every bit as good as I remember it, and even scarier )
but now I am heading off to India in a couple of weeks...
So, am thinking (in my new-found tradition of making sure that I go bouldering whenever I am on a work trip) Hampi, and have been looking for info for a while, but not much around apart from a couple of websites and a Rock article...

I hear rumours of quite a few people heading down to Taswegia in the new year. Who's going and what are the dates. I'm thinking that I'll be heading down there too. If anyone wants to go and do a share cost adventure then let me know.

So far Clint is coming so there are at least two of us to share the driving. I will be taking some major camping gear down for the base camp at various locations. I may have room for anyones gear if they want to fly and join us down there....

Serpent

I haven't done much climbing for ages but i'm getting back into it and I'm wondering what the Serpent situation is like these days. I've only been out there once.... years and years ago.... probably about 99/00. I'm pretty keen to go back once i'm in the swing of things again but does anyone know if access is still ok? I remember there were some issues. I've had a quick look at the guide and it seems it was ok as of 2005 at least?

Bolts pulled on Insomnia

A friend had told me the one of the bolts on 'Insomnia' moved by hand so I had a look this morning. The second bolt did move and came out with a twist of a spanner. I also removed the first bolt, which also came out easily, so no one would lead it and find a bolt missing.

I will replace them seeing I pulled them. Possibly next week.

I haven't been past to have a look myself, but I've been told that Nightfell (edit: Update, bottom 3/4s of mank mistress, top of nightfell/burning fragment) at kangaroo point has been retrobolted. Anyone know any more details?

Bizarre Victorian goings on at Frog.

Two Victorian guides rocked up at Frog for a week with one client. What the? That's right, the client must be loaded. One guide leads, the other guide seconds and cleans and then they set up a top rope for the client to climb. What the? Who pays to bring up two guides from Victoria for a weeks climbing at Frog. What the?

This all could have been a story so that they wouldn't have to include Clint for a climb. Ah well, Clint decided to have a weekend of solo aid climbing....

Hey hey,

I'm planning on heading up to Coolum this Saturday with a couple of mates for an attempt at getting on the wall.

Do you essentially have to stick clip the first bolt in all cases? Is the device/stick/thing which does this, something that is left there week to week for climbers to use?

It's come to my attention that a staff member at one of the businesses who are good enough to let us put a donation jar on their counter has been telling customers that the money goes towards funding hardware for new routes. This is UNTRUE. All money donated to safer cliffs is and always has been spent ONLY on replacing OLD hardware. Routes such as these:

trollling the net during my lunch break (oh alright during work hours) for info on Mt Warning, I came across a little gem, which I have never seen before, Phil Climbing porn. Now I love surfing for porn (climbing), so it was much to my amazment and joy that I found this. I know most have probably seen this, so I have 2 things to ask/offer.
1)- Phil can you replicate this movie and put it up on you tube with better video quality and
